Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
250 g Liver
1 Table spoon Black Pepper Powder
1 Tea spoon Chili Powder
1/2 Tea Spoon Coriander powder
1/2 Tea Spoon Fennel Powder
1 Small Onion
1 Tea spoon Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Cup Water
1 Table Spoon Coconut oil
Salt to taste
To clean the Liver
1 Tea spoon Turmeric Powder
2 Table spoon Vinegar

Clean the liver

  1. Cut the liver into small cubes and mix it with vinegar and turmeric powder and keep it aside for an hour. Then wash liver with water. This process will take away all the blood stains and bad smell of liver.

Cook the liver

  1. Now put cleaned liver and rest of the ingredients except onion and salt to pressure cooker and mix well.
  2. Cook it in a medium low flame for 20 to 25 minutes without putting pressure button on top.

Make masala and fry

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add finely chopped onion and salt, saute untill brown. Now add the cooked liver with all masalas and water if left.
  2. Now keep in low flame untill all water evaporate and oil seperate. Make sure not to burn.
  3. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot. It will go very well with rice, pathiri, chapathi, white bread and on…..

Tips & Tricks :-

  • Never use salt while washing and cooking the liver, because if u add salt it tends to harden. Add the salt with onion.
  • Before adding onion,add curry leaves which will give nice aroma and taste.
