How to make ginger garlic paste and preserve them

120 g Garlic
80 g Ginger
2 table spoon Salt
2 table spoon Oil

  1. Peel garlic and remove the skin of ginger.

  1. Give them a quick wash.

  1. Cut the garlic into two and ginger into cubes to make grinding easier.

  1. Grind them to a smooth paste in your blender or food processor. Make sure there is no big chunks left.

  1. Take them to a bowl and add salt and oil, mix them really well.

  1. Transfer them to a glass container or jar, keep them to the freezer.

Tips & Tricks :-

  • Use your choice of oil. I have used here light olive oil.
  • Make sure you use dry spoon each time you take the ginger garlic paste, else it will get spoiled.
  • This can be stored in the freezer for couple of months.
