Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
2 Cups (200 g) Old fashioned rolled Oats
1/3 Cup Shredded coconut
1/2 Cup Chopped almonds
2 Table spoon Sunflower Seeds
2 Table spoon pumpkin seeds
1 Table spoon Chia seeds
1/4 Cup Melted Butter
1/3 Cup Honey
1 Tea spoon Vanilla Extract
1 Egg white
1 Tea spoon Water
1/4 Tea spoon Salt
1/2 Cup dried cranberries

Preheat your oven at 160 º C.

Take dry ingredients till chia seeds in a bowl and combine them.

Add in melted butter, honey and vanilla and mix them.

Take egg white in a bowl with water and salt and beat them until frothy. Add egg white to the oats honey mixture.

Spread them evenly on a baking sheet.

Bake them in a preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes or until granola become light brown.

You need to stir them every 5 minutes, which helps granola to bake evenly.

Take them from oven and add in cranberry and mix well.

Keep them aside to cool down completely.  Granola will become crunchier as it cools down.

Store them in an airtight container.

Serve them as a breakfast cereal with milk and some fresh fruits.

Or as a parfait with yogurt, or sour cream. I love them with clotted cream too.

Or top them on your ice cream or simply much on as a snack.

Tips & Tricks

  • Use your choice of nuts, seeds and dried fruits. Add little more or less as per your preference.
  • This granola is moderately sweetened. You could add little more of honey or other liquid sweeteners like maple syrup, agave syrup etc.
  • Melted butter can be substituted with coconut oil as well.
